Gordon Ramsay Restaurants has announced the completion of its franchise disclosure documents, adhering to US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations, to prepare for growth in the country.
This enables the company to begin franchising two of its casual dining brands across the US, namely Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza.
The group, which currently has 94 owned and licensed restaurants worldwide, is initiating its US franchising drive with immediate effect, focusing on larger cities.
It has set an ambitious goal of securing at least 12 new franchise agreements in the US within the next five years.
To facilitate this expansion, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants will collaborate with franchise development consultant Catesby to connect with potential franchise partners.
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants CEO Andy Wenlock said: “Franchising is the next natural step in a market where Gordon has a clear fan base, and both Gordon and I have ambitions to expand the business.
“We have an established management team and infrastructure in North America to support future growth, and we are now looking for partners who want to deliver a true Gordon Ramsay experience. We are excited to start this process with Catesby having successfully completed our franchise disclosure documents.”
In February 2025, Gordon Ramsay opened his first restaurant in Canada at River Rock Casino Resort in Vancouver.
