Atlanta, US-based platform company GoTo Foods is set to launch its first original concept – Cinnabon Swirl.
The new venture, due to launch in May 2025, will merge the Cinnabon flavours with Carvel’s Original Soft Serve.
GoTo Foods consist of seven brands: Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba, McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Schlotzsky’s.
The first Cinnabon Swirl outlet will open in Hillsboro, Oregon, with more than 30 locations planned.
It also plans to open three stores this year: one in Peoria, Arizona, one in Kennesaw, Georgia, and a third in Pasadena, California.
GoTo Foods chief executive officer Jim Holthouser stated: “GoTo Foods has a unique competitive advantage by operating as a dynamic platform company with powerful enterprise engines including supply chain, technology and revenue management. Its menu will feature Bonini, a warm-pressed fusion of a Cinnabon Classic Roll with Carvel vanilla soft serve.
The Cinnabon Swirl Sundae offers chopped Cinnabon Classic Roll swirls topped with soft serve and caramel drizzle.
Ice Cream Sandwiches will combine Carvel soft serve between freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, while Premium Pints are served with assorted toppings.
Cinnabon executive chef Jennifer Holwill stated: “Consumers are increasingly seeking new and unique irresistible desserts, and Cinnabon Swirl was conceptualised to meet this evolving demand.
“Cinnabon Swirl is the ultimate sweet escape, giving consumers an experience and menu items that they won’t find anywhere else.”
