Great American Cookies, a part of FAT Brands, has announced the opening of its first two locations in the Franklin Mills Mall, Philadelphia.
The new venues will be open from 11am to 7pm on Mondays to Thursdays, from 10am to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11am to 6pm on Sundays.
The opening of the two new restaurants is part of the company’s plans to expand its footprint on the East Coast.
Great American Cookies president Allison Lauenstein said: “At Great American Cookies, every new store opening is an opportunity to bring joy to a local community.
“Making our debut in Philadelphia is a tremendous opportunity for Great American Cookies from a brand visibility standpoint and we look forward to treating locals to our sweet offerings that continue to stand the test of time since our founding over 45 years ago.”
Great American Cookies was established in 1977 and its offerings include its Original Cookie Cake, along with fresh-baked cookies in a variety of flavours, brownies and double doozies.

Last month, FAT Brands expanded its Great American Cookies store footprint in the US by opening its first location in Anchorage, Alaska.
The company said that its new Anchorage location will serve as a major sweet hub for the residents.
Its menu includes a wide variety of desserts, including fresh and soft-baked cookies, custom cookie cakes and brownies.
