It also offers an assortment of wraps incorporating Hawaiian Bros’ signature flavours such as Pacific Island, Huli Huli, and Molokai Mac.

Before the public opening, Hawaiian Bros will host an exclusive VIP event on 16 November, with two sessions at 11am–2pm and 5pm–8pm.

During this event, medical personnel, first responders, academic staff, students and local business employees will get a treat to a free classic Plate Lunch.

Ohana Restaurant Group owner Zach Fugate said: “It’s so exciting to expand as our island-inspired dishes have been growing in popularity across the great state of Kansas.

“We’ve been eager to open this location and bring our unique cuisine to Wichita and, next month, we will continue this momentum with our next Kansas location in Manhattan.”

Hawaiian Bros’ Plate Lunches offer chicken varieties or pork glazed with a range of sauces from sweet to spicy.

Accompanied by macaroni salad and steamed rice or vegetables, and capped off with Dole Soft Serve, its offerings are made from fresh ingredients without the use of freezers, fryers, or microwaves.
