Chinese tea chain HEYTEA has entered the South Korean market with its first store in Seoul.

Located in the Apgujeong area of the capital city’s Gangnam district, the new outlet will provide local consumers with authentic Chinese teas, utilising fresh fruits, original tea leaves and milk.

The move is part of HEYTEA’s strategy to bolster its position in Asia’s tea drink market and signals further expansion plans across Asia and globally.

The 80m² Apgujeong store will introduce Korean customers to the distinctive facets of Chinese tea culture.

The brand states that its drinks are a healthier alternative to the prevalent bubble tea drinks in Korea, which are commonly made from instant tea powders and artificial additives.

HEYTA’s Apgujeong store will feature four series of beverages: Seasonal Inspirations, Refreshing Real Fruit Teas, Classic Real Dairy Milk Teas and Refreshing Finest Teas.
