US-based casual restaurant chain Huddle House has entered a franchise agreement with multi-unit owner Ryan J Peters to launch three new outlets in Florida.
Peters, a resident of Live Oak, Florida, served in the Florida Army National Guard. He also owns a mobile home dealership and a car dealership.
Huddle House parent company Ascent Hospitality Management chief development officer Peter Ortiz said: “We truly admire Ryan’s entrepreneurial spirit and are delighted to have someone with so much passion for business and Huddle House join our enterprise.
“His commitment to our brand and growth with this multi-unit deal speaks to his confidence in our winning business model and our team. We are honoured to continue our expansion efforts with his support.”
Peter’s first franchise location is scheduled to open in Live Oak by the end of 2023. The store will be located in a shopping centre and cover nearly 2,300ft² of space.
The second outlet is scheduled to open 18 months later, followed by a third location in the future.
