abCoffee, an Indian on-the-go coffee chain, has appointed Rohit Tiwari, a former executive of OYO, as its president of operations.
The move is part of the company’s growth plans to expand its footprint across India.
Tiwari brings more than 15 years of experience in scaling hospitality and customer-facing businesses to the role, which will be instrumental in abCoffee’s rapid expansion efforts.
Tiwari’s career began at Unilever and progressed through significant roles at Airtel, where he was pivotal in expanding the company’s reach to more than 600,000 touchpoints.
His recent tenure includes positions as director and global project management officer at OYO and vice-president of business at e-learning platform PrepLadder.
An abCoffee spokesperson was quoted by World Coffee Portal: “Tiwari’s role at Airtel underscores his experience in establishing and managing extensive distribution networks – skills that align seamlessly with abCoffee’s growth strategy as it targets new markets and innovative customer engagement channels.”
