Food delivery and quick commerce company Swiggy has unveiled three new programmes to enhance support for its restaurant partners.
The initiatives include kitchen equipment procurement support, hygiene audits and professional photoshoot services, all designed to boost operational efficiency, maintain hygiene standards and improve customer engagement, as reported by Business Standard.
The kitchen equipment procurement support initiative will allow small and mid-sized restaurants to purchase essential kitchen tools at competitive prices.
Through the Swiggy Owner app, restaurant owners can connect with trusted suppliers to ensure optimised kitchen set-ups and improved operational standards.
Along with equipment support, Swiggy revealed hygiene audits as part of its Swiggy Seal programme.
Conducted by FSSAI [the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India]-accredited agencies, these audits will provide valuable feedback on sanitation and facility maintenance at discounted rates.

The programme’s pilot phase has already garnered significant interest from restaurant partners.
Swiggy Food head of customer experience and restaurant experience Deepak Maloo said: “These newly launched initiatives will address some key challenges faced by restaurants in their daily operations – be it improving sales through high-quality images, optimising operations with better kitchen set-ups, or driving high food hygiene standards.”
In October 2024, Swiggy launched the Swiggy Seal initiative across 650 Indian cities to boost the food quality standards and hygiene practices of its restaurant partners.
