Juice bar and coffee chain Joe & the Juice has bolstered its collaboration with online food delivery platform Deliveroo by entering an exclusive partnership for the UK market.

From 2 January 2025, this collaboration will enable Deliveroo customers to order the full menu from Joe & the Juice for on-demand delivery in Birmingham, Brighton, Greater London, Kent, Liverpool and Oxford.

Since their initial partnership in 2019, which covered only five UK sites, Joe & the Juice and Deliveroo have expanded their collaboration to 65 locations.

With this latest development, the partnership is set to support Joe & the Juice’s expansion plans, which include hundreds of new sites across the UK regions and London.

This growth is part of the company’s strategy to increase its global presence to 1,000 stores by 2029.

The exclusive partnership aims to boost the brand’s appeal among office workers and expand its corporate customer base through Deliveroo For Work.

To celebrate the launch of this enhanced partnership, Deliveroo is offering a 20% discount to customers who spend £25 or more on Joe & the Juice products from 2 January to 16 January 2025.

A Joe & the Juice spokesperson said: “By working exclusively with Deliveroo, we’re enhancing the way customers can access our menu while continuing to prioritise the vibrant, welcoming in-store experience that sets us apart.

“Deliveroo’s support in marketing and operational alignment helps us focus on what matters most — providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.”

“Together, we are excited to make Joe & The Juice available wherever life takes our customers, while staying true to the quality and energy they’ve come to expect from us. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering the best of Joe & the Juice both in-store and on demand, meeting our customers wherever they are.”

Joe & the Juice noted that its digital sales were up and accounted for 29% of the company’s total business. This growth is expected to be further supported by the partnership with Deliveroo.

Deliveroo chief business officer Carlo Mocci said: “At Deliveroo, we’re dedicated to supporting the growth ambitions of our partners, so we’re thrilled to announce our exclusive delivery partnership with Joe& the Juice as they expand across the UK.

“Our customers are increasingly seeking healthier options, and Joe & the Juice is perfectly positioned to meet this demand. With this new exclusive partnership, we believe we’re offering Deliveroo customers the very best selection in London and beyond.

“The collaboration reinforces the brands’ commitment to delivering high-quality, fresh, and convenient options to customers across the UK.”

In November 2023, General Atlantic signed an agreement to increase its stake in the brand.
