Fast-food restaurant chain Jollibee has announced the return of its Ube Pie dessert and the launch of two new chicken sandwich options in the US for a limited time.
The Bacon and Cheese Chicken Sandwich and Aloha Chicken Sandwich will be available at all Jollibee locations.
The new Bacon and Cheese Chicken Sandwich, priced at $7.99, features the brand’s signature hand-breaded chicken breast fillet, umami mayo, and brioche bun, topped with bacon and cheese.
Similarly priced, the Aloha Chicken Sandwich includes an Aloha dressing, grilled pineapple, bacon, and lettuce, offering a sweet-savoury flavour profile.
Jollibee’s Ube Pie dessert is made with 100% real Ube, a popular ingredient in South-East Asia, and is known for its purple hue and smooth, sweet flavour.
It is encased in a buttery and flaky pie crust and is priced at $2.99.
Honeybee Foods Corporation, doing business as Jollibee Business Group, head Maribeth Dela Cruz said: “We’re beyond excited to offer these new, innovative flavour combinations that build on the Jollibee taste portfolio that fans have come to know and love.
“Our recently developed Chicken Sandwiches are the perfect meal for people looking to experience something deliciously new, and the return of our delectable Ube Pie offers the ideal way to end a satisfying meal.”
The Bacon and Cheese Chicken Sandwich, Aloha Chicken Sandwich, and Ube Pie will be available while supplies last.
Earlier this year, Jollibee further extended its footprint in the US with the opening of a new outlet in Brooklyn, New York City.
The venue joined the company’s two restaurants in Manhattan and one at 609 8th Avenue.
