US-based fried chicken chain KFC has launched a new dining concept named Saucy, with its opening scheduled on 23 December 2024 in Orlando, Florida.
The spin-off restaurant will focus on customisable chicken tenders and a range of sauces and beverages, providing a personalised dining experience.
Saucy has a pink colour scheme and contemporary design. It is expected to offer a modern customer experience with the latest industry technology.
Situated in the Waterford Lakes neighbourhood of Orlando, the restaurant will feature drive-through lanes, self-service kiosks and advanced back-of-house tech that utilises real-time data to improve service efficiency and food freshness.
The company will host live entertainment and other programmes at Saucy to enhance the customer experience. It aims to be a place where patrons can relax, enjoy their meals and spend more time.
The menu will be centred around its 11 signature sauces – a nod to KFC’s original 11 herbs and spices – ranging from Chimichurri Ranch to Sweet Teriyaki.
