
Fast food chain KFC has launched a “Dunk It Bucket” featuring the brand’s latest menu addition — mashed potato poppers.
The new offering, its first new bucket in almost a decade, is available across the US for a limited time.
The Dunk It Bucket comprises KFC’s hand-breaded Original Recipe Tenders, Secret Recipe Fries and mashed potato poppers, served with a choice of dipping sauces.
Customers can also order the mashed potato poppers separately as a five-count portion with a side of warm gravy.
The pricing for the new menu item starts at $7 for an individual Dunk It Bucket, while a larger Double Dunk It Bucket, designed to serve multiple people, is available for $25.
Sauce options are Buffalo Ranch, Classic Ranch, Comeback Sauce, Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard, Sticky Chicky Sweet and Sour Sauce and Warm Gravy,
The Dunk It Bucket can be ordered in-store, via KFC’s website, or through the KFC app for delivery or Quick Pick-Up.
KFC US president Catherine Tan-Gillespie stated: “Our new mashed potato poppers transform a legendary KFC classic into a crunchy can’t-resist bite of perfection.
“And the Dunk It Bucket […] dream come true for sauce lovers. […] It’s our first brand-new bucket in nearly a decade, and trust me, it was so worth the wait.”
KFC’s menu includes bone-in chicken, nuggets, tenders and other items such as the KFC chicken sandwich, extra crispy chicken, bowls, pot pies, fries, biscuits and sides.
The company operates more than 30,000 restaurants across 150 countries and territories.
In February 2025, KFC announced plans to move its US corporate headquarters from Louisville, Kentucky to Plano, Texas.
