Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) US has appointed Paul Tuscano as its new chief digital officer, effective 1 August 2023.
The company created the new role to drive the company’s digital priorities further.
Tuscano will oversee the implementation of the KFC US digital roadmap, ensuring that the right capabilities guide digital solutions for the customer.
He will report to KFC US president Tarun Lal and work alongside KFC US chief technology officer Chris Caldwell.
The company stated that Caldwell would continue to focus on restaurant technology initiatives and the company’s technology support call centre.
Lal said: “Paul’s impressive career has focused on providing customers with an optimal experience and his passion for the customer journey makes him the right leader to take our digital business to the next level.”
Prior to this appointment, Tuscano worked for more than five years in Marriott’s product management division.
He also worked for Verizon Wireless for more than a decade and was involved in developing new digital and wireless products across multiple industries.
Tuscano said: “I’m thrilled to join KFC, an iconic brand, to work alongside the talented leadership team and digital teams to accelerate Kentucky Fried Chicken’s digital growth.”
In April this year, KFC selected Jonathan Ojany as its new US chief financial officer (CFO).
Ojany will be responsible for financial activities and plans to achieve growth, revenue and profit targets.
