Global doughnut company Krispy Kreme has announced a strategic partnership with restaurant group ISH Kreme to introduce its iconic doughnuts to the German market.
The expansion plan includes the opening of Krispy Kreme shops across Germany, beginning with the capital city, Berlin.
Krispy Kreme chief development officer Raphael Duvivier said: “We are excited to expand into Germany as it has been a priority market for us, offering substantial growth with more than 3,000 points of access.
We are very pleased to partner with ISH leader Ilkem Sahin and the very experienced ISH team to grow in the market.”
The company’s omnichannel fresh business model, which utilises a capital-efficient hub and spoke system, has facilitated broad expansion both within the US and internationally.
Krispy Kreme’s commitment to freshness is evident in their daily hand-crafted and hand-decorated doughnuts, which have garnered a loyal following worldwide.
