French bakery and café La Madeleine has announced a new US brunch menu that includes more than 20 fresh and revamped food and beverage options and the return of some customer favourites.

The brunch menu features a selection of French toast and waffles, served with powdered sugar and whipped topping.

Guests can choose from four variations: Classic, served with butter and syrup, Fresh Berries, topped with strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, Maple Pecan with cinnamon and candied pecans and Blueberry Cheesecake topped with cream cheese filling, blueberry jam and blueberries.

The menu features Croffles, a croissant-waffle fusion in two varieties: the Monte Cristo and the Benedict.

The new Bacon Bon-Bon Brioche Sandwich combines brown sugar bacon with a fried egg, tomatoes, microgreens and French aioli on a brioche bun.

Avocado toast is served on Turano bread with tomatoes, feta, microgreens and a balsamic glaze.

La Madeleine has also introduced handcrafted wine-based cocktails, available throughout the day.

The beverage lineup includes the Bloody Mary, the Espresso Martini, the Parisien Sunrise and the Cosmopolitan.

La Madeleine president John Dillon stated: “This is the biggest and most exciting menu launch in La Madeleine’s 40-year history. At La Madeleine, we believe brunch isn’t just a meal — it’s a celebration, a moment to gather and indulge in the perfect fusion of breakfast and lunch.

“No matter the time of day, our new brunch menu is designed to bring people together over classics and new flavours […] We can’t wait to welcome our guests.”

Permanent additions to the menu include dipped croissants with freeze-dried strawberries or crusted pistachios.

For a limited time, the menu will also feature the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich, cherry turnovers, cherry-topped individual cheesecakes and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.

In August 2024, La Madeleine signed agreements with three franchise groups to develop new locations in the US state of Florida, Tennessee and Texas.

La Madeleine is owned by Groupe Le Duff based in Rennes, France, and operates 90 cafés in the US and internationally.
