US-based provider of mobile point-of-sale systems for restaurants Lavu has purchased MenuDrive, a mobile ordering platform for restaurants.
MenuDrive allows restaurants to maintain its own custom branded online and mobile ordering system for customers to place orders online or through their smartphone for in-store pickup or home or office delivery.
The company currently offers its services to restaurants and food establishments across the US and Canada.
As part of the deal, both companies will focus on enhancing customers’ experiences by integrating MenuDrive’s expertise in the restaurant e-commerce space with Lavu’s mobile point-of-sale systems.
Lavu CEO Saleem S. Khatri said: “Lavu and MenuDrive share a single vision and goal which is to provide restaurant owners with the online ordering technology they need to thrive.
“Together, the strength of our combined companies will enable our customers to achieve even higher profit margins and increased levels of customer satisfaction.”
