US-based pizza chain Little Caesars has partnered with door-to-door delivery service provider DoorDash to offer on-demand delivery.

The partnership will offer delivery from 3,600 Little Caesars’ locations in the US and Canada. It comes as several restaurants have started using platforms such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats and Postmates for food delivery.

This is the first time that the global pizza chain has added a delivery service to tackle pressure from other restaurants. To date, Little Caesars has offered pickup service for its pies and breadsticks.

According to Reuters, orders can be placed only via Little Caesars’ own website and mobile app.

The orders will then be fulfilled via a service known as DoorDash Drive. DoorDash Drive is currently assisting different restaurant partners such as Chipotle, Denny’s, Wingstop, and Portillo’s in offering on-demand delivery services.

In a statement, Little Caesars chief executive officer David Scrivano was quoted as saying that the company will not require customers to make minimum purchases to make use of deals or discounts.

The full menu of Little Caesars Pizza will be available at the same price for the online delivery service.

Currently, Little Caesars has stores in 50 US states and 24 other countries.

Founded in 2013, technology company DoorDash has operations in more than 4,000 cities and 50 states across the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia.
