US fast-casual restaurant chain Mahana Fresh is set to open its new location at 17195 Tomball Parkway, suite 4C, Houston, in the US state of Texas, on 3 August 2024.

A community-centred opening event will feature special offers and charitable giving.

The first 24 guests will receive a free bowl, and all attendees can enjoy $5 Mahana-sized Bowls.

Houston Mahana Fresh will donate $5 from every bowl sold to the Houston Food Bank.

Operating every day from 11am to 9pm, the new 1,500ft² Houston location will feature patio seating and offer dine-in, pickup, delivery via third-party partners and catering services.

The location will also run a series of week-long deals to attract customers.

These include Family Day with $5 off $40 purchases, buy-one-get-one-free wraps, complimentary desserts with any purchase, free avocado topping, a free drink keychain offer and a day when kids eat free.

Mahana Fresh’s menu is centred around a gluten-free, build-your-own-bowl concept. This allows customers to customise their meals with a variety of proteins, bases, toppings and sauces.

The menu features chef-inspired creations and gluten-free desserts, including chocolate chip cookies, zucchini brownies and snickerdoodles [sugar cookies rolled in cinnamon sugar].
