US-based restaurant company Marco’s Pizza has signed an agreement with Rodrigo Azpurua and his son Enrique Azpurua to open five restaurant outlets in South Florida.
The first two stores will be opened this summer at 811 East Commercial Boulevard and 811 North Nob Hill Road. The remaining three stores are set to open by Q2 2024.
The Azpurua family, who are Venezuelan natives, immigrated to the US in 2001.
Enrique Azpurua said: “As an immigrant entrepreneur, my dad has instilled in me the value of hard work from a very young age.
“It’s a privilege to operate as a family business and rest assured, we’ll be working hard. We look forward to becoming part of the community and creating job opportunities and career pathways. We’re on the fast track to get these five stores up and running to serve our local residents.”
Marco’s Pizza currently has more than 130 restaurant outlets across the state and the latest deal aligns with the brand’s aggressive domestic growth with more than 200 stores in various stages of development.
