American restaurant chain Marco’s Pizza has launched the Margherita Magnifico Pizza, available for a limited period in the US. 

The new pizza variation is inspired by the traditional Margherita and features the company’s signature house-made dough, a blend of three cheeses, mozzarella slices, Roma tomatoes and a basil drizzle, made from fresh basil sourced from a farm in California. 

This addition aims to elevate the classic flavour profile of the Margherita pizza. The new option starts at $10.99. 

The launch follows the introduction of Marco’s Pizza’s Fiery Flavors Menu, which features a range of spicy offerings. 

The menu includes pizzas, breads, bowls and handhelds, all featuring a spicy cheese blend that incorporates Monterey Jack cheese infused with jalapeños, habaneros and Carolina Reaper peppers.

The corporate-owned store in Meridian is a key component of a larger expansion strategy revealed in early 2024. The plan includes opening four additional locations in the Boise area, which will serve as a testing ground for the company’s innovative concepts.
