
McDonald’s Australia (Macca’s) is set to introduce its winter menu on 3 July for a limited time.
The highlight of the new menu will be the Steakhouse Stack, a burger described as a favourite item in the UK.
Featuring on the Australian menu for the first time, the Steakhouse Stack will have two Australian beef patties, shredded lettuce, Aussie Jack cheese, onions and red onions with peppercorn mayo between toasted buns.
Returning items on the menu include Mozzarella Sticks with Sweet Chilli Sauce and three banana-flavoured desserts: the Banana Thickshake, Banana Caramel Pie and Banana Caramel McFlurry, which will be available in Chocolate or Vanilla Soft serve.
Besides the desserts, which are returning on popular demand, the menu will feature a Happy Meal with 12 toys with bespoke themed packaging.
These items are being launched in conjunction with the upcoming “Despicable Me 4” movie, with banana the Minions’ favourite flavour.

Macca’s also hinted at additional surprises throughout the winter, including exclusive merchandise and new menu items.
McDonald’s Australia senior brand manager Liz Whitbread said: “Our winter menu is all about giving our customers a seasonal spin on Macca’s iconic flavours.
“Starring a brand-new hearty burger from the UK with an Aussie twist, combined with a cheesy side and delicious banana-flavoured desserts, Macca’s is bringing the smiles, warmth and comfort this winter for the entire family.”
In June 2024, McDonald’s Australia partnered with Martin Brower to introduce its first electric delivery truck in Sydney, New South Wales.
The Volvo FL refrigerated electric truck has a range of 230km, an energy capacity of 265 kilowatt-hours across four batteries, and can deliver 4,600kg of goods.
