McDonald’s Canada has expanded its menu with the introduction of the Big Arch burger in the country.
Available at participating locations nationwide, the Big Arch burger comes with two quarter-pound beef patties made from 100% Canadian beef, three slices of white processed cheese, crispy and slivered onions, pickles, lettuce and the brand’s new sauce, called Big Arch.
McDonald’s has highlighted its commitment to local sourcing by using only Canadian beef.
McDonald’s Canada chief marketing officer Alyssa Buetikofer said: “We have heard our guests loud and clear and understand they are looking for a bigger burger on our menu, and we are excited to bring this new global menu item to Canadians.
“This satisfying burger combines the familiar McDonald’s flavours our fans know and love with some unique new ingredients, including a tangy new burger sauce created for the Big Arch specifically.”
In May 2024, McDonald’s launched the Grimace Shake in Canada at participating restaurants for a limited period.
