Global fast food chain McDonald’s has expanded the menu at its global headquarters restaurant in Chicago with items from India, Australia, Canada, Germany and Hong Kong.
The chicken McMuffin with egg sandwich, from Hong Kong, China, Singapore and other Asian markets, features a toasted English muffin, a McChicken patty, an egg, American cheese and mayonnaise.
Served on a toasted bun, the McAloo Tikki from India is made using a veggie patty including potatoes, pea and seasoning similar to those used in samosas, red onions, tomato slices and an eggless creamy tomato mayo.
Currently available in Australia, the cheddar BBQ bacon burger features a third-pound Angus beef patty, McDonald’s Angus seasoning, two slices of white cheddar cheese, two slices of bacon, grilled onions, mayonnaise and BBQ sauce and is served on a toasted artisan bun.
The tomato mozzarella chicken sandwich is made up of a seasoned chicken breast, grilled or crispy chicken, red onion rings, lettuce, sliced tomato, mozzarella cheese and a creamy tomato and herb sauce.
The ‘I’m Greeking Out’ salad is a blend of premium lettuces, sliced cucumbers, red pepper strips, crumbled feta, seasoned couscous, and herb and garlic pita chips along with sliced grilled or crispy chicken. It is offered with Greek dressing or other dressing based on the customers’ choice.

Made in France, the deluxe potatoes feature seasoned potato wedges and a creamy dipping sauce.
McDonald’s is also offering the chocolatey wafer McFlurry featuring its vanilla soft serve, crushed chocolatey wafer candy bars and a choice of hot fudge or warm caramel, from Germany.
McDonald’s Chicago owner and operator Nick Karavites said: “Customers have expressed interest in items from McDonald’s restaurants located in India and we’re excited to offer them the opportunity to try the long-time vegetarian favourite, McAloo Tikki.”
The Chicago restaurant also offers other classic menu items such as the Big Mac, the beef quarter pounder with cheese, chicken McNuggets and McDonald’s world-famous fries.
