McDonald’s USA has entered a partnership to sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts at its fast-food locations from the second half of 2024.
The collaboration will introduce three varieties of Krispy Kreme to the fast-food chain’s customers: the classic glazed doughnut, the chocolate iced doughnut with sprinkles and the chocolate iced doughnut with cream filling.
The items will be delivered fresh to McDonald’s locations each morning and customers will have the option to buy them individually or in a pack of six.
The decision to expand the availability of Krispy Kreme doughnuts across the fast-food chain follows a pilot in 160 locations in Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky.
The pilot restaurants will continue to offer the products as the nationwide rollout progresses.
McDonald’s USA’s chief marketing and customer experience officer Tariq Hassan said: “Our fans’ love for Krispy Kreme runs deep, and we can’t wait to make it even easier for them to satisfy their sweet tooth at McDonald’s restaurants across the country.”
