US-based pizza restaurant chain Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers has announced the launch of its new summer cocktail, Strawberry Shakedown.
The restaurant brand claims that its Strawberry Shakedown is a handcrafted punch that contains Tito’s Vodka, fresh strawberries and a dash of Angostura Bitters.
The new cocktail contains fresh sour, with no artificial additives or preservatives, with the Angostura Bitters adding a new layer of complexity.
The gluten-free Tito’s Handmade vodka used in the drink is produced from yellow corn, rather than potatoes or wheat and the strawberries are claimed to be fresh and all-natural.
Mellow Mushroom brand development vice-president Anne Mejia said: “Mellow Mushroom is known primarily for hand-tossed stone-baked pizzas, however, we also offer a delicious variety of handcrafted mocktails and cocktails.
“Our latest cocktail creation, Strawberry Shakedown, can be enjoyed while patio dining with family, colleagues, or friends.”

The company further added that the Strawberry Shakedown complements many of its menu items, pairing best with the flavours of the Kosmic Karma pizza or Spinach Artichoke Dip.
