Cookie and sweet treat brand Mrs Fields, owned by Famous Brands International, has expanded its presence in California with the opening of a new store in San Jose.
The latest addition, situated at the Westfield Oakridge Shopping Center, is the 30th Mrs Fields location in the state and features on-site baking and a full-service experience.

The new outlet is located at 25 Blossom Hill Road, at the food court entrance.
The 200ft² store is equipped with digital monitors and menu boards, enhancing the customer experience.
Customers will find a variety of freshly baked cookies, brownies and custom-made cookie cakes for special occasions.
The San Jose store is owned and operated by Andy Kurum and Jennifer Bakker, both residents of Redondo Beach, California.

Kurum and Bakker have expressed their intention to grow their franchise operations within the Mrs Fields brand and are seeking additional opportunities to open more stores in Northern California, aiming to capitalise on the brand’s popularity and their entrepreneurial spirit.
