American fast food restaurant chain Nathan’s Famous has expanded with the opening of a new franchised restaurant in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
The restaurant, featuring a new free-standing design format, has a double-lane drive-through and an upgraded point-of-sale (POS) system.

The Rock Hill location offers the full Nathan’s Famous menu along with exclusive local additions.
The brand’s signature hot dogs, crinkle-cut fries and deep-fried ripper dogs, including the special Rock Hill Ripper, are all available.
The menu also includes hand-dipped chicken sandwiches such as the Hot Southern Chicken Sandwich, along with the Empire Bacon Cheeseburger, the Manhattan Burger and the NY Cheesesteak Hero.
Nathan’s Famous marketing vice-president Phil McCann stated: “We’ve opened and remodelled many new franchised and licensed locations in travel plazas, airports and other inline units, but this is the first free-standing restaurant with our new design, and we are incredibly happy with how it turned out.”

In January 2024, Franklin Junction secured exclusive global licence rights for all future Nathan’s Famous virtual restaurants.
Nathan’s Famous partnered virtual restaurant platform provider Nextbite in April 2023 to expand its offerings through a network of restaurant partners, introducing a delivery-only menu.
