Global hotel and restaurant group Nobu Hospitality is set to launch its first Canadian restaurant and bar location, Nobu Toronto.

The new establishment at 25 Mercer Street is a block away from the TIFF Light Box in the Entertainment District.

Nobu Toronto will open in early August 2024, ahead of this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.

The two-level Nobu Toronto will showcase chef Nobu’s signature new-style Japanese cuisine, influenced by his South American travels.

The menu will feature iconic dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno, Black Cod Miso and Rock Shrimp Tempura.

Executive chef Alex Tzatzos has curated signature cocktails such as the Lychee Martini and Oni Negroni, which will include local elements that pay homage to Toronto’s diverse culinary landscape.
