US-based fast-casual chain Noodles & Company has reached an agreement with DND Group to open ten new venues in Portland, Oregon, expanding the company’s presence in the Pacific Northwest.

The opening of the first location is planned for 2025.

The deal will also see the immediate acquisition of six existing restaurants in the region.

Established in 2007, DND Group operates 56 restaurants across nine US states. Its portfolio includes brands such as Dairy Queen, Zaxby’s, Taco John’s and Paris Baguette.

DND Group president and CEO Dara Dejbakhsh said: “We are excited to add Noodles to our portfolio of brands and bring the brand’s globally inspired dishes and flavours to Portland and the surrounding areas.

“With this new franchise agreement, we are looking forward to further growing Noodles in the Pacific Northwest, where we already successfully operate our other brands.

The franchise agreement will also focus on Oregon’s populous cities such as Portland, Eugene, Bend and Yakima-Kennewick-Pasco.
