Olo, a restaurant technology provider, and its partner ezCater, the food tech platform for workplaces in the US, are set to introduce a new menu integration, which is expected to simplify catering menu management.
This move will automate menu updates across both tech platforms, allowing restaurants to save time by minimising the need for manual updates.
Olo founder and CEO Noah Glass said: “Our partnership with ezCater empowers restaurants to optimise their catering business and deliver outstanding guest experiences more efficiently.
“As restaurants look to drive profitable traffic, catering offers a high-potential growth channel, with significant basket sizes and likelihood for repeat business. We are proud of our collaboration with ezCater and look forward to developing solutions that simplify the complexities of catering and help restaurants grow their businesses.”
The Olo-ezCater partnership provides automated menu updates through Olo Rails, which enables restaurants to modernise their catering offerings.
The integration is designed to reduce the manual effort required by restaurants to update their catering menus, thereby lowering the likelihood of human error and reducing operational overhead.

By GlobalDataezCater chief revenue officer Kaushik Subramanian said: “Catering is a massive growth opportunity for restaurants, especially as more companies recognise the value food brings to their workplace.
“With the right technology, restaurants can capture as many of these valuable workplace orders as possible. Our integration with Olo enables restaurants to more reliably fulfil these orders and provide a great experience for our shared partners.”
As a result of this integration, operators and guests will benefit from a consistent experience, regardless of where they access a restaurant’s catering menu.
As stated in ezCater’s 2024 Feeding the Workplace report, 53% of workplace food buyers plan to increase their spending on food this year.
The extended partnership between Olo and ezCater arrives at a pivotal moment for operators looking to capitalise on these trends.
This enhancement highlights the commitment of ezCater and Olo to pioneer technology solutions tailored to the distinct needs of the restaurant industry.
