Full-service real estate company Olympia Development of Michigan has partnered with Blush Enterprises to open the first Rush Bowls fast-casual restaurant location in Detroit, Michigan, US.
Blush Enterprises founder and president Beth Lehman will open the Detroit restaurant along with four other locations in the state.
The new location, which is the first Rush Bowls franchise for Lehman, will offer meals-in-a-bowl featuring fruits and vegetables, protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients, and topped with organic crunchy granola and honey.
Located on Columbia Street, the new location will be spread across 1,000ft² of retail space. It will be designed by von Staden Architects.
The restaurant joins various foodservice establishments including Frita Batidos; Sahara Restaurant & Grill and a new Union Joints restaurant.
Lehman said: “Detroit’s revitalisation is a perfect fit for this brand and I’m so excited to be part of that energy.
