US-based ordering platform Open Dining has partnered with restaurant point of sale (POS) company ParTech (PAR) to integrate both platforms.

As part of the deal, PAR’s cloud-based Brink POS software will be integrated with Open Dining’s online ordering solution, enabling customers to place push orders directly into the Brink POS system.

ParTech chief strategy officer Paul Rubin said: “We are pleased to welcome Open Dining to Brink’s large and growing partner ecosystem. We believe that our customers benefit from having a choice in partners.

“With online ordering growing rapidly in the restaurant industry, this partnership will benefit Brink users and restaurant operators by streamlining operations, reducing labour cost, improving efficiency, and reducing error rates.”

“The integration between Open Dining and Brink POS will help restaurants remain competitive in today’s landscape.”

Established in 2009, Open Dining is a cloud-based online ordering system that allows restaurant customers to increase revenues and profitability through web, mobile, and social ordering.

The solution also offers a suite of integrated tools to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.

Open Dining CEO Tim Ridgely said: “The integration between Open Dining and Brink POS will help restaurants remain competitive in today’s landscape and provide their customers with an excellent dining experience.

“We’re thrilled to work with PAR to deliver best-of-breed technology solutions for our mutual customers.”

ParTech is a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology, which offers software, systems and service solutions to the restaurant and retail industries.

The company served nearly 100,000 restaurants across more than 110 countries by offering its POS systems.
