Online restaurant reservations platform OpenTable has teamed up with diversified bank Capital One Financial to provide the latter’s credit cardholders with premium access to reservations.
With this partnership, Capital One credit card holders can make reservations at top dining destinations on the OpenTable app at prime dining times in more than 15 different cities in the US.
Capital One cardholders can browse through the participating restaurants either online or at the ‘Premium Access’ carousel on the home screen of the OpenTable app.
The cardholders can then unlock and book a table for two or four people at the restaurant’s busiest shifts.
Some of the participating restaurants include Boka, Girl & the Goat, Republique, Here’s Looking At You, NoMad Restaurant, Brennan’s, Shaya, The Loyal, Daniel and La Esquina, and more.
OpenTable chief commercial officer Debby Soo said: “We know that coming across a 7 pm Saturday night reservation at the hotspot can sometimes feel impossible. Now, there’s a way to get those reservations without scouring our site or planning months in advance. By partnering with Capital One, we’re able to offer their credit cardholders Premium Access to coveted reservations all while introducing our restaurant partners to new diners.”
