American fast casual restaurant chain Panera Bread has expanded its beverage lineup with four new additions for the summer season 2024.
This move is part of the company’s “New Era” menu transformation, which aims to refresh its offerings.
The new beverage selection includes three additions to Panera’s Unlimited Sip Club: Pomegranate Hibiscus Tea, Citrus Punch and Blueberry Lavender Lemonade.
Panera is also revamping one of its classic smoothies with the introduction of the Tropical Green Smoothie, made by blending tropical fruit purée with spinach.
Citrus Punch combines natural flavours of lemon, mango, pineapple, and blood orange yuzu, while Pomegranate Hibiscus Tea offers a herbal infusion of hibiscus and pomegranate.
Blueberry Lavender Lemonade is a new addition to Panera’s lemonade range, infusing blueberry and lavender flavours.
Members of Panera’s Unlimited Sip Club subscription, which costs $14.99 per month or $119.99 per year, can get these new beverages alongside Panera’s full range of self-serve drinks.
To mark the launch, Panera is also offering a special promotion until 30 June 2024, in which new subscribers can enjoy three months of the Unlimited Sip Club for free.
From 20 to 27 June, 100 Panera customers will have the opportunity to win a free 30oz Panera tumbler.
Since its inception in 1987, Panera Bread has grown to 2,200 bakery-cafés.
In April 2024, the fast-casual chain embarked on its largest menu overhaul, focusing on enhancing core items such as soups, sandwiches, salads, and mac and cheese.
The New Era plan includes 20 new as well as enhanced items on the menu, offering enhanced quantity and portions of items to customers at a lower price point.
