American bakery-café fast-casual restaurant chain Panera Bread has expanded its summer 2024 menu with the introduction of new sandwich options and avocado toasts.

The new offerings include the Spicy Chicken Fiesta and Kickin’ Grilled Cheese sandwiches, along with two new Avocado Toast varieties.

Starting at $11.59, the Spicy Chicken Fiesta Sandwich features Panera’s salsa verde spread, grilled chicken, white cheddar cheese, sweet peppers, cilantro [coriander] and roasted corn, all served on artisan ciabatta.

The Kickin’ Grilled Cheese sandwich, priced at $7.49, combines the same salsa verde spread with American and White Cheddar cheeses on classic white miche bread.

The brand’s new Avocado Toasts, starting at $3.49, are inspired by Panera’s Food Hackathon.

In April 2024, Panera Bread expanded its menu with the introduction of changes entitled New Era. It included nine new offerings and 12 enhanced classic dishes.

The new menu featured sandwiches and salads, with items such as the Toasted Italiano, the Chicken Bacon Rancher and the Ciabatta Cheesesteak.

The updated menu is a response to extensive customer feedback and aims to provide more options under $10.

The brand rolled out the changes across all its bakery-cafés nationwide.
