US-based pizza delivery company Papa John’s International has introduced Jalapeño Popper Rolls.
The new item is available as an add-on side or as a snack. An order includes eight rolls with Ranch dipping sauce.
The baked Jalapeño Popper Rolls are made of jalapeño and Philadelphia Cream Cheese wrapped in Papa John’s six-ingredient dough.
Papa John’s Product Innovation senior vice-president Paul Fabre said: “With our Jalapeño Popper Rolls, we are delivering our unique take on one of America’s classic appetisers. Our guests can add this new tasty side to bring a little spice to pizza night.”
Customers can order the new item using phone, website, app or by asking Alexa.
The launch of Jalapeño Popper Rolls follows the introduction Papadias into the restaurant chain’s menu. Papadias is an Italian-style flatbread sandwich that is also prepared using the restaurant chain’s six-ingredient original dough.
