Restaurant technology company PAR Technology (ParTech) has enhanced its partnership with online food delivery platform Grubhub by integrating its MENU Link feature, a component of the PAR MENU ecosystem.

The integration allows for automatic synchronisation of menu items, pricing and order details between PAR’s Brink point-of-sale (POS) system and Grubhub.

The marketplace order management solution directly sends incoming orders to the kitchen, eliminating the need for manual entry by staff, reducing errors and saving time.

The MENU Link feature seamlessly integrates Grubhub with PAR Brink POS, PAR’s innovative cloud-based POS system.

It enables restaurants to manage Grubhub delivery and pickup orders directly within the POS system, enhancing the workflow for both kitchen and front-of-house staff.

With MENU Link, restaurants can centralise control over their menus, apply dynamic pricing across different channels and access store-level information and order data from third-party marketplaces.

This unified approach eliminates the confusion, costly errors and duplicated work associated with managing multiple devices from different delivery services.

PAR Technology CEO Savneet Singh said: “How people experience food has drastically changed — especially among millennials and Gen Z — with the surge in off-premise dining and delivery services. While delivery provides diners with seamless ordering, it also creates ‘tablet hell’ for restaurants juggling multiple apps.

“Together with GrubHub, our MENU Link solution tackles this head-on by integrating all major delivery services into one system. This innovation provides restaurants with the capabilities they need to thrive on digital demand.”

Last month, American restaurant chain Bob Evans selected PAR Technology’s loyalty and offer solution, PAR Punchh, to augment its customer engagement strategy.

PAR Punchh will help Bob Evans strengthen customer relationships with tailored offers and rewards and significantly improve the way it interacts with its guests.
