North American bakery café chain Paris Baguette has expanded its presence in the US with a new location at 2501 Research Forest Dr C, The Woodlands, Texas, US.

Opening on 18 January 2025, it marks the first Paris Baguette café in Woodlands proper and the 12th location in the state.

The latest Woodlands development is spearheaded by franchisees Jorge Molina and Armando Cordova.

The financial backing from the Molina family was crucial for initiating this project. However, it was the partnership between Molina and Cordova that brought their vision to fruition.

Franchisee partner Jorge Molina said: “I always knew I wanted to start a business that would integrate organically into the community my family and I are part of. We spent several months searching for options that could be profitable, while aligning with the ideals we pursue, and Paris Baguette became a clear choice for us.

“After some time, and with the trust I have in this community, I decided to inject 100% of the capital needed for a business. That’s where my business partner, Armando Cordova, stepped in, bringing a rich background in the restaurant industry. He has been instrumental to this journey as we build this dream. Today, I am happy to see it come to life. We are ready to learn and grow Paris Baguette in The Woodlands, with more vision for growth on the horizon.”

Armando Cordova, who moved to the US from Mexico City 11 years ago, has carved out a niche for himself within the restaurant industry.

Seeing an opportunity for growth, he partnered with Jorge Molina to launch their own Paris Baguette outlet.

Cordova said: “After working in restaurants for over a decade, I realized that I very much enjoy hospitality, and when I discovered what Paris Baguette had to offer, I immediately connected with the bakery café concept and the neighbourhood focus the brand cultivates.

“There really isn’t a bakery café like Paris Baguette in the Woodlands community, and we are excited to introduce everyone to the delicious and high-quality menu that Paris Baguette offers.”

The new café marks a significant milestone for Paris Baguette as it continues to expand its North American footprint.

The brand aims to hit the 1,000-unit mark in the US and Canada by 2030.

They are seeking partnerships with local entrepreneurs who are passionate about fostering community bonds through quality baked goods and artisan coffee.

In addition to expanding their physical locations, Paris Baguette also announced earlier this month the introduction of their limited-time 2025 winter menu.

This seasonal menu features butter pecan-flavoured pastries and beverages, along with savoury items offering customers comfort with an artisanal touch.
