US-based fast-casual dining chain Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe has announced the opening of its latest store in Springdale in the US state of Arkansas.

This is the tenth store opening for franchisees Allen and Brittany Wills, who are now the brand’s largest franchisee.

This store introduces Arkansas’ first Pickleman’s drive-through.

Allen Wills stated: “Every store has its own story. Each one takes a village of hardworking people and we’re grateful for our team. Springdale is extra special to us. Northwest Arkansas is our home. Our friends and family, even our kids, get to be an important part of this one.

“Pickleman’s was our go-to in college. I loved the Italian Club, and still do. Now, it’s about creating a place where people want to gather and keep coming back. We want to serve families, be a kid’s first job, and be that familiar place when they come home from college. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to continue doing what we love.”

For 20 years, Pickleman’s has been serving toasted sandwiches, crisp salads, thin-crust pizzas, soups and cookies.

Reflecting on the brand’s 20th anniversary, its founder and CEO Doug Stritzel stated: “Reaching this milestone isn’t just about longevity – it’s about consistent quality, innovation, and a deep commitment to the communities we serve. Our growth has been fuelled by passionate franchisees like Allen and Brittany, whose vision continues to propel the brand forward.”

In addition to the Springdale location, the Wills are actively expanding their footprint across Arkansas and Oklahoma with six more units currently under development.

Stritzel added: “Brittany and Allen exemplify what makes our franchise network exceptional. Their dedication, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to build strong community connections have been instrumental to their success. They represent the best of what Pickleman’s stands for, and their journey from a single store to ten locations is a testament to their leadership and hard work.”

In March 2025, Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe announced plans to open 14 new locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by 2030.
