Mediterranean fast-food brand Pita Pit USA has announced a new franchise deal to expand its presence in the US state of Montana.
Native of the city of Bozeman and fourth-generation Montanan Bruce Foreman will own and operate the new outlet, located in Belgrade.
Foreman stated: “My dream was always to run a QSR [quick-service restaurant], and Pita Pit has been one of my favourite restaurants for years.
“Belgrade is growing, and I saw an opportunity to bring back jobs, mentor young employees and provide a healthy dining option for both locals and visitors.”
The expansion reflects Pita Pit’s commitment to providing fresh and flavourful Mediterranean cuisine to communities nationwide.
The updated menu features the addition of the Greek Grilled Cheese – a Mediterranean spin on the classic American dish.
The new offering comes in Chicken Club, Athens Steak, Athens Chicken, Cowboy Steak and Say Cheese flavours.
Pita Pit’s menu also offers bowls, sides such as falafel bites, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices and customisable options.
The chain is offering single-unit and multi-unit franchise opportunities.
The introduction of a drive-through model with a smaller footprint – between 800ft² and1000ft² – will provide franchise partners with more flexibility in real estate choices and support the increasing number of delivery and pick-up orders, reducing the financial commitments required from franchisees.
Pita Pit USA president and CEO Peter Riggs stated: “We’re thrilled to welcome Bruce to the Pita Pit family and to expand our footprint in Montana.
“Bruce’s deep roots in the region, combined with his passion for customer service and mentorship, make him the ideal partner to bring Pita Pit to Belgrade.”
In February 2025, Pita Pit USA announced its expansion in Alaska with two new locations in Wasilla and Palmer.
Headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, it currently has 68 locations across the country.
