Pizza Hut is set to expand its beer delivery programme across the US.
The company introduced a beer delivery pilot programme in Arizona in December 2017 and expanded it to California after five months.
The company will now introduce the service to nearly 300 locations in Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina and Ohio, as well as to additional restaurants in California and Arizona.
The expansion is a part of the company’s plans to increase its beer delivery capabilities to 1,000 restaurants in new markets by mid-2019.
Pizza Hut chief brand officer Marianne Radley said: “As the official pizza sponsor of the NFL, we’ve been celebrating football fans all season long, so it only makes sense for us to bring more customers the beloved combo of pizza and beer ahead of the Super Bowl.
“We are proud to be pioneers of beer delivery and are well-poised to take on more markets in the coming year.”
