Pizza Hut Australia has announced an update to its menu – a new loaded garlic bread range, News.com.au has reported.

The new offering allows customers to load their garlic bread with pizza toppings including pepperoni, buffalo chicken, barbecue meatlovers and veggie paneer.

The loaded garlic bread options are priced between A$6.95 ($4.6) and A$8.95.

They can be combined with other items on the menu for an additional A$2.50 ($1.6), offering flexibility and value to customers.

The updated range is now available at Pizza Hut locations throughout Australia.

Garlic bread is the brand’s most popular item, ordered every minute during the chain’s average operating hours.

Pizza Hut Australia chief marketing officer Wendy Leung was quoted by News.com.au as saying: “With the new loaded garlic bread range, we are hoping to take our value proposition to a whole new level.”

“As with all our menu items too, we are committed to delivering the best quality products, and we can’t wait to share our new creations with Australia.”

“We know the current cost of living crisis is really hurting Australians at the moment, and we are hoping that by offering our latest range from just $6.95 pick up, we’re helping relieve the pressure in some small way.”

In June 2023 Allegro Funds, an Australian private equity company, agreed to sell its holding in Pizza Hut Australia to the Flynn Restaurant Group (FRG), a US-based restaurant franchisee operator. The value of the deal was not made public.
