Yum! Brands subsidiary Pizza Hut has launched a new restaurant in Plano, Texas, offering US customers an enhanced dining experience with a focus on digital convenience and sustainability.  

The new design concept revealed at 8605 Ohio Dr integrates self-service kiosks, contactless pick-up options and a drive-through with a new “Hut ‘N Go” menu, reflecting the brand’s commitment to innovation and customer service. 

The Plano location is equipped with self-service kiosks to expedite ordering, contactless pick-up cabinets and a pizza-making station visible to guests. 

The drive-through “Hut ‘N Go” menu provides a selection of items ready for immediate pick-up, streamlining the customer experience. 

Pizza Hut chief executive officer Aaron Powell said: “From its physical layout to its modern design and digital-forward capabilities, this new restaurant showcases Pizza Hut’s legacy of innovation and unique ability to meet changing guest needs in ways that are distinctive to our brand.  

“Beyond just serving delicious pizza, which we do very well, it’s equally as critical that our guests enjoy a seamless experience with us that feels personalised to their tastes and needs. This restaurant format harnesses the power of these priorities and, as a result, creates magic that only Pizza Hut can offer.”

Pizza Hut’s new establishment also prioritises environmental responsibility with energy-efficient lighting and appliances, including auto lift fryers and ovens with in-vent hoods, and an energy management system. 

The layout of the establishment enhances the guest experience and increases transaction volumes and in-restaurant traffic compared to previous store models.

The revamped restaurant replaces an older Pizza Hut building that had been in place for 25 years.  

In November, Pizza Hut ventured into the wine market with the launch of a limited-edition tomato wine, crafted to complement the flavours of its pizzas.
