Pizza Hut, a Yum! Brands subsidiary, is venturing into the wine market with the launch of a limited-edition tomato wine, crafted to complement the flavours of its pizzas.
Made in collaboration with Kansas-based Irvine’s Just Beyond Paradise Winery, the wine combines ripe tomatoes, basil and a blend of herbs and spices with subtle toasted oak notes, giving an essence of baked pizza crust.
Resembling white wine when chilled, the Pizza Wine is available exclusively online for $25 per bottle with a minimum purchase of two for the holiday season.
Pizza Hut is also reintroducing its Triple Treat Box, a holiday meal offering two medium one-topping pizzas, breadsticks or cheese sticks, and a dessert.
The Triple Treat Box, offered in a holiday-themed box, is now available starting at $19.99 at participating locations nationwide.
Pizza Hut has also announced the launch of a limited-edition $60 gift set, featuring a bottle of the wine, two Pizza Hut-branded wine glasses and a bottle opener.

By GlobalDataPizza Hut advertising director Elyse Slayton said: “The holidays are a time for many gatherings, but often the gift of a bottle of wine can feel expected. Why not be the one to bring the pizza party with the gift of pizza wine and a Triple Treat Box designed to ignite fun and conversation?
“As a brand that has pioneered many firsts in the industry, we took a beloved, classic pairing of pizza and red wine and flipped it on its head as we aim to spark intrigue and create a more memorable holiday pizza party.”
