UK-based restaurant group PizzaExpress has launched its own delivery platform known as “PizzaExpress Delivers” in partnership with Uber Eats.
The pizza restaurant chain will allow customers to place their orders through PizzaExpress’ website or app. The order will then be delivered by Uber Eats.
PizzaExpress launched the new service after a successful trial in 2022.
The restaurant chain offers a wide range of menu items, including pizzas, pastas and salads. It also includes a selection of starters, drinks and desserts.
Under the PizzaExpress Club loyalty scheme, customers will receive rewards on every order and new customers will receive free Dough Balls when they join.
PizzaExpress delivery and collection director Tom Hatcher was quoted by Foodservice Equipment Journal as saying: “Launching PizzaExpress Delivers marks the extension of our omnichannel proposition, where we have led the casual dining market for many years, serving customers across dine-in, retail, collection and delivery.
