Fast-casual Mexican restaurant chain QDOBA has announced the return of its Loaded Tortilla Soup with customisable options, available for a limited period.

The dish is part of a wider Comfort Food Fiesta that includes Cheese-Crusted Quesadillas and Brisket Birria.

The Loaded Tortilla Soup features a vegetable broth base enriched with tomatoes, onions, roasted peppers and spices.

Diners can personalise their soup with a selection of proteins such as Brisket Birria, Grilled Steak and Grilled Adobo Chicken, or opt for a vegetarian version.

Additional toppings include sour cream, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, tortilla strips and QDOBA’s signature hand-crafted guacamole.

The Cheese-Crusted Quesadilla with Brisket Birria features beef brisket slow-cooked for ten hours in a blend of chiles and garlic.

QDOBA’s take on this dish, inspired by Mexico City street tacos, includes a golden cheese-crusted tortilla filled with melted cheese and Brisket Birria.

In April 2024, QDOBA announced the expansion of its menu with the addition of Mexican Street Corn.

With more than 750 locations across Canada, the US and Puerto Rico, the chain enables consumers to customise their meals, including burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads.
