US-based fast-casual Mexican restaurant chain QDOBA has signed multiple franchise development agreements aimed at expanding its presence in key US markets in 2025.

Among them is a notable commitment from APR Island Management/Cafua Management, led by David, Mark and Greg Cafua alongside Ricardo Gonzalez – the largest Dunkin’ franchisee in the US – to develop 20 new restaurants in New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

The move follows QDOBA’s performance at the close of 2024, marking 16 consecutive quarters of positive same-store sales.

The brand also celebrated 22 new franchise signings nationwide, bringing its total to more than 450 future restaurants.

One significant deal is an agreement with Q Eats for 15 restaurants across Greater Houston.

QDOBA franchise owner with Cafua Management Mark Cafua said: “After more than 40 years in the quick-service industry, we chose to invest in the fast-casual market, and QDOBA stood out for its fresh, customisable meals and loyal customer base.
