REGO Restaurant Group’s Quiznos has broadened its presence in Michigan, US, with the opening of a new outlet in Swartz Creek, contributing to the brand’s strategic growth in the region.

The Swartz Creek restaurant is the second venture for franchisees Jennifer Spiers and Randy Saylor, who previously opened a store in Rochester Hills.

Their ongoing partnership with the brand is set to continue, with plans to inaugurate two more locations under a multi-unit development agreement.

Spiers said: “The support and excitement from the Swartz Creek community have been overwhelming.

“During the construction of the store, we’d have up to 20 people a day stopping by to ask if we were open. It’s clear that this community has a love for Quiznos, and we’re proud to be part of bringing in this beloved sandwich shop.”

The new Swartz Creek location is an indication of the brand’s transformation across North America, as Quiznos adapts to consumer demands in both the US and Canada by introducing new experiences in its restaurants.

REGO Restaurant Group Operations vice-president and brand leader Gregory Boudreaux said: “Jennifer and Randy’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to fostering local community connections make them ideal franchisees to lead the charge in Michigan.

“Their enthusiasm for the brand and their experience as multi-concept operators positions them perfectly to drive continued success in the region.”

In September, Quiznos opened a new restaurant in Tucson, Arizona.

The company reopened in Tucson with a new outlet near the University of Arizona, part of a plan to open 30 locations across the state by 2030.
