Rebel Foods, the master franchisee for the Wendy’s brand in India, has opened its 160th Wendy’s restaurant at BTM Layout in Bengaluru, India.
Rebel Foods is a cloud kitchen operator with brands including Faasos, Behrouz Biryani, Oven Story Pizza, Mandarin Oak and SLAY Coffee.
The new BTM Layout restaurant showcases Wendy’s digital-first approach to enhance customer and crew experiences. The location offers more than 50 seats, self-ordering kiosks for a streamlined service, and both dine-in and takeaway options.
It offers Wendy’s signature dishes, including the OG Spicy Aloo Crunch Burger, Flavour Fresh Premium Burgers and the Frosty dessert.
Wendy’s Company president E J Wunsch said: “Our partnership with Rebel Foods has helped us deliver Wendy’s fresh famous food to Indian customers across the market, and the opening of the Logix Mall, Noida restaurant will provide another opportunity for Wendy’s fans to enjoy our food where they live, work and play.”

This opening takes the total count of Wendy’s locations in the city of Bengaluru to 20, with the MG Road and BTM Layout restaurants featuring dine-in services.
In October 2024, Wendy’s restaurant opened at Logix Mall in the north Indian city of Noida.
Wendy’s recently introduced India’s first Chimichurri Burgers – a blend Argentinian flavours with Indian spices in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Rebel Foods plans to establish dine-in Wendy’s restaurants across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The expansion is not limited to dine-in services, as delivery options are also set to increase.
Rebel Foods aims to add several dozen restaurants by December 2024, extending its presence in cities such as Tiruppur, Mysore, Nagpur, Bhilai and Kanpur.
In February 2023, the Wendy’s Company entered an agreement with Rebel Foods to increase Wendy’s physical restaurant footprint in India to 150 locations up to 2033.
Rebel Foods obtained the licence to develop Wendy’s cloud kitchens in India in December 2020.
