American casual dining chain Red Lobster has extended its partnership with delivery platform DoorDash to make its seafood meal offerings more accessible.
Under the partnership, DoorDash will offer delivery services to customers from more than 300 Red Lobster locations across the US and Canada by July this year.
The deal will also enable the restaurant chain to increase its delivery footprint and integrate DoorDash into its point of sale (POS) system to ensure an enhanced customer experience.
Red Lobster CEO Kim Lopdrup said: “We know our guests are busy, so we want to offer ways that make it easy and convenient for them to dine with us.
“We’re excited to expand our partnership with DoorDash as another way to grow our off-premise offerings and provide guests with an ultimate seafood dining experience, no matter where they are.”
Additionally, Red Lobster is making an investment in to-go services by launching online ordering across the US and revamping its packaging.
